New releases…
I’ve finished Calypso Squares! It’s the latest in my Edibles collection and will include a recipe for Calypso Cookies. It’s at the printer and will be sent to the auto shops June 1st. If you’re a shop not on my auto, you can sign up anytime! I used 18 different bright Watercolours and five of Kreinik’s holographic braids. I wish the metallics showed up better in the photographs but trust me when I tell you they *SPARKLE*!
I’ll also be releasing a new Color Delights – Olive. One of my early Color Delights was supposed to Olive but turned out to be Camouflage because of the overdye I chose. Even though it didn’t turn out the way I was thinking, it was one of those “happy accidents” where the result was a good one!
I’m working on fun stuff for the fall now in anticipation of teaching out in California at Needle in a Haystack. I can’t wait to visit Cathe’s shop and wander through all the threads. I’ve never been there in person but have seen pictures and know she has LOTS of threads.
On the quilting side I’ve finished a few more of my applique blocks and just wish I had more time to devote to them. Here are two of my recent finishes…
